🧶 Focus test
Which path leads to the goal?
Follow the lines with your eyes only – no fingers! Every round is tangled anew, so you can play again and again.
Why do we lose the line?
At every crossing your brain has to decide which line is the “right” one. It gets help from the Gestalt law of good continuation: we automatically follow the line that continues most smoothly. After many crossings in a row, working memory gets overloaded – and your eyes jump onto the wrong track.
Tips for more hits
- Start from the goal and trace the line backwards – it’s often easier.
- Count the crossings so you don’t lose the thread.
- Go slowly: speed almost always causes mistakes here.
